    I'm back. Miss anything?

Hey guys! It's been nearly a year and a half since I've been in the DeLorean world. Life happened. Sold all three of my DeLoreans. Then I moved into the Viper world and bought a '96. Got married and had a baby. Currently moving from Tennessee to Alabama. Busy to say the least lol. With that being said, no matter how hard I've tried to stay away from DeLoreans, I just can't. I have the bug and want to buy another. While I'm not planning on buying another in the near future, I am planning to buy another at some point next year.

So while I've been away, have I missed anything important? Any exciting vender news I should know about? Anything new at all? I'm going to spend the next few weeks looking at the threads I've missed but if anyone wants to post links to must read threads that would be awesome. Anyways hope everyone is doing well.

    Yes, indeed. More expensive.

Hagerty shows the value for an '81 or '82 D in #2/Excellent condition has gone up nearly $10K since September, 2016. Cars in worse condition have changed much less.

The other news is the New DeLorean Production plan out of DMCH. https://www.delorean.com/new-delorea...ion-update.htm
Some news last year about it, plus pricing rumors; not so much news this year and no firm dates I've heard about. It's possible you knew about that when you sold your last D since the first announcement was more than 18 months back.

On the replacement parts front I think somebody noted that new left fenders are being developed - I forget who's doing that.

    Happy hunting.

I've noticed that. Makes me realize I sold mine too cheap lol. At least they went to good homes so that counts for something I suppose.

I remember hearing about the DMCH production plan. That was proably the last bit of news I do remember reading. Now I'm excited to hear about new parts coming that were once unavailable, especially left front fenders. Know if any other parts are coming back from the grave?

That does sound like it will be an outstanding show. I've never been able to make it to a DCS and sadly I will not be able to attend this one as well. One day I'm going to knock it off my bucket list though.
