Josh, rookie question but I want to make sure I do this job correctly the first time for obvious reasons. With the compression sleeve, am I to follow Picture A or Picture B's orientation?

B is correct. Thanks for pointing that out Ryan.

Great, thanks guys. That's what I thought. Mine fell out of the compression nut when I was moving things around before I could see the proper orientation.

And one other clarification: the compression sleeve is reusable, correct? It doesn't act like a copper crush gasket on the oil pan that needs to be replaced after use?

I have the same question. I've had to remove the elbow a time or two while experiencing some fuel filter problems and want to make sure that the compression sleeve doesn't need to be replaced after use. Anyone know for sure?
