Great, thanks guys. That's what I thought. Mine fell out of the compression nut when I was moving things around before I could see the proper orientation.
And one other clarification: the compression sleeve is reusable, correct? It doesn't act like a copper crush gasket on the oil pan that needs to be replaced after use?
