A big thanks to my friend Cindy who took some photos for me (and the DeLorean Community).
Cindy was in NY to visit her daughter and she had a few free hours one day to stop by the exhibit.
For those who have been wanting to know the VIN of this "art car", it's VIN..6738.
Set 1 of photos attached in this post below. Set 2 to be attached in the next post.
Thanks,
Rich W.

Fantastic pics there, Rich. Thanks to Cindy for taking them.
I wonder what the history of the car was? Did the artist buy it without a drive train?
Equally, what's it's future now after the show.

VIN 2743, B/A, Frame 2227, engine 2320
I don't always drive cars, but when I do, I prefer DeLoreans

No-one is to stone anyone, even, and I want to make this absolutely clear, even if they do say "carburetor"
I'm really trying to find something positive to say about this car. I really am.
But for me personally, I think this car is towards the top of the list of stupid things people have ever done to a DeLorean.
Maybe I just don't understand "art" but for some reason I find this one particularly awful. It's right up there with the DeLorean Old Spice ruined by covering it with fake sand. At least some of that car was able to be salvaged afterwards. http://dmctalk.org/showthread.php?89...in-It-s-a-mess

Looks like someone got too excited and 'exploded' too much high gloss J12 all over the room. Similar to putting a grenade in a tin of white paint, but s lot more satisfying. ..
RIP Rob van de Veer Top bloke
I say Sir, I must be mad, one loves fixing K-Jet !
