If it helps Michael, the Lotus cars of the same era used the shim method of setting the rear toe and seeing to the imaginary centreline of the car.

If a local has a computerised geometry (tracking) system such as a "Hunter" / "Hoffmann" etc, see if they have data on the Delorean and get a printout of the adjustment specifications of the shims.
