    Not every cat is bad. Most Deloreans don't have the mileage to wear them out. I would suggest the majority of the ones that are bad are bad because the fuel system had problems from lack of use, the motor ran overly rich, and overloaded the cat. A mal-functioning cat can cause a lot of odors like "old car smell".

    In summary, not every cat is bad, except the ones that are bad.
