    Where can I get those clips that hold the door shock in place so it will not pop out? Thanks everyone

    They are a "safety clip", part # 108110, available at DMC HERE for $0.59 .

    Sure, but if you only want one or two clips, you can call them to see if the website calculated shipping quote applies. If it does, and you can't get them elsewhere, you can put them on your wish list and in the meantime, secure the strut temporarily with an appropriately sized stiff wire like the paperclip idea mentioned above (if you're comfortable with the risk here).

    This is my type of strategy in this online world, build to an order that justifies the shipping charge, especially for small items like these.

    But, hopefully you can get them used from a member here.

    Looking on the bright side, I think it's amazing that we can quite literally get any part from one of the worldwide vendors for this 37 year old defunct classic car.

    Oh ya don't get me wrong I'm thrilled we can still get parts! I just hate that sometimes the shipping costs more than the part itself.

    They need to offer some sort of amazon shipping incentive like Delorean Prime! Lol
