    AC/heater blower fan issues - a resolution

Just thought I'd share. My speeds 3 and 4 weren't working on my climate fan. I checked and had voltages where I should, all the way to the blower motor. The culprit was a well known one to this group; corrosion. The male spade connectors on the underside of the blower motor were covered in rust. I dremmeled them clean and did the same for the female connectors in the plug. Problem solved. I can only assume that this built up over time in our humid environment.

    Check 'em!

Gotta love those nice easy fixes! I had similar problems with flakey performance on the 3 and 4 speeds and my problem was light corrosion on the original relays. When I did my relay upgrade, the speed switch worked like new again.

    heater motor

Had a squealy heater motor 14 years ago. Tried to oil
it but could only do the fan blade side. So I drilled a 16th
inch hole on the bump on the "bottom" side, oiled it and
    sealed it with silicone......still running
