So I ordered it and put it in and there is about an inch and a half gap on either side of the window – is that how it should be? I was hoping it would fit in there more perfectly to keep the sun off the pillars. Thanks

The one from DMCH covers the whole windshield and is less expensive than the covercraft. Just saying.

I have the Covercraft sunscreen and yes, it does leave a gap near the A pillars.

I've been meaning to turn this into a sunshade for fun.

Awesome, I looked into blowing up that image as well and making a visor. Perhaps you could use the image and cut it into sections to paste onto the visor in this thread. Still have a bit of gap on the sides but probably still look cool.

Where did you go to get it printed?

Copied from amazon. About $60. I have one and yes it fits perfectly! The color is very close to stainless steel so looks great.
(Tonge in cheek) I'd just buy one of the foil types about once a year from the Everything's a Dollar store, and kind of cut/fold to shape and tape the edges (who said ALL DeLorean parts have to be expensive?) Color me cheap, I guess.
