Canton NC DMC Estate Sale Find

Someone sent this to me this morning. Car looks rough, somebody go save it:

    https://tricities.craigslist.org/hvo...700025030.html

I have no affiliation with the seller, just wanted to get it to a wider audience so it doesn't end up sitting in that field for 10 more years.

To help, they have kindly lifted the D off the ground with a fork lift for frame pics

I don't always drive cars, but when I do, I prefer DeLoreans

No-one is to stone anyone, even, and I want to make this absolutely clear, even if they do say "carburetor"

Someone will overpay bigtime. I once did an online estate sale to buy gold bullion and the people that outbid me paid 20% over spot PLUS auction fees. You could buy it on ebay for cheaper.
Someone will see this and get it for 5 or 6k plus another grand for fees and towing and think they have struck gold. In the end they might break even parting it out.

    Ooh...that auction has a Geo Storm...a classic...lol

I'd give 'em 1-2k for the D cause I like taking things apart and that would be a good one to take apart.

If I could get it in my yard for 5k, I might be a player but I seriously doubt there is much left after you consider your time parting it out. I do put a dollar value on my spare time spent on such a venture and since I have very little of it, it's a healthy number. At 5k, you might make a few grand from it but judging from the pics there is not much to sale except for panels, maybe the rear carrier, and possibly a few other hard parts. I would bet the interior is toast.
