    Price too high

    They paid $7250 plus 16% online fee $1160= $8410 and they had to ship it or pick it up. I talked to the auctioneer and the car has been sitting since 1995, the last time it was registered in Florida. The title is still in that gentleman's and he is deceased.

    I like seeing parts cars flirt with 5 figures. That should mean a beautifully restored turn key D should bring 40k easy...but it usually doesn't.

    Funny, if I were in the DeLorean sales buiz, I would just sell piles of shit like that one. There is much more money in it

    If the person who's name is on the title is deceased, then it should be possible, I think to get the title cleared. Of course, that was definately alotta money for just a parts car.
