1981 DeLorean Grooved/Flapped, 5 Speed, Black Interior Wide Side Stripe $21000.01

I am selling my June 81 build, VIN 01714. It has a grooved and flapped hood, black interior, dark wheels and wide side stripe. The following is a list of what has been replaced and/or updated:

    Fuel System:

Cleaned Fuel Tank, distributor, WUR, 6 injectors, fuel pump/boot, sending unit, filter, accumulator

    Brakes:

Rotors, master cylinder, flexible line on front drivers side and all lines and calipers were flushed/cleaned, passenger side E-brake cable

    Engine:

Water pump, plugs/wires/rotor cap/, 140 amp altenator, muffler heat shield, VOD cleaned, intake, fuel/air mixture, belts, self-bleeder on water pump, throttle spring, throttle cable

    Transmission:

SS clutch line, slave/master cylinders. I did have the 5th nut back off, fairly common to low VIN cars. Transmission was flushed, new nut installed and orginal transmission plate was repaired. I have put over 6k miles on car since having the work done with no problems.

    Interior:

DMCH dash, seat covers, floor mats, shifter boor, SS shifter ball, recovered binnacle, headliners recovered

    Various other things:

Relay/fuses updated, Bitsyncmasters cooling fan relay/rpm relay/fan fail relay, LEDs in marker lights, trunk/doors/dome lights/HVAC panel/instrument lights, marker lights/marker lights gasket kit, tail light boards, engine cover, hood/doors/louver struts, door seals, cooling system hoses and pipes, powder coated rock screen, thermostat, RPM motor, oil sending unit/pressure unit, otterstat, wipers, illuminated window switches, elbow pad, radio face plate/bezel, blower motor, mode switch, headlight switch, ignition switch, Eibach lowering springs, shocks, nos wheels/caps, set of Cooper Cobra GTs, headlights, custom side stripe, DeLorean bra and a few probably things that I am not recalling right now.

The DeLorean has 238xx miles. Like alot of these cars the AC does not hold a charge. The facias could use a respray. I have used the car fairly regular to drive to work and to use in car shows. I have just decided to move on to another hobby for awhile or to buy a new home. BTW, anyone wanna buy a house??? I will also include a Presenting DeLorean Banner with the VIN number added. I also have a pair of the Nike 6.0 DeLorean shoes, size 12. Still have the paper shoved in them buy the kid who made them. i.e. never been tried on. I do have a black wine bottle (full) with the DeLorean Owners Associations emblem etched into it and painted silver. The shoes and wine I will except offers. Any questions 757-647-3519 is my cell number. The car is located just west of Indianapolis, IN. I will add more pictures tomorrow.

Thanks. I am negotiable on the price. The frame has some surface rust on the front, but no rot/holes/etc.

I wonder what is going on with the hood next to the gas-flap. It looks like it creases in somewhat. Is this typical for gas flap hoods?

21k isn't a bad price at all for an early vin! Out of reach for me right now, but it will make another Delorean wanna-have happy as a clam I am sure.

Next to the gas flap there isn't a crease. The flap sticks up just a little from the hood. I would say only can be seen from such an angle as that picture was taken.
