Petition to bring back the 195/60r14 bfg radial t/a

Hey guys, my name is Jeremiah. I havent been very active since buying vin 04667. I have been enjoying fixing up my newly acquired car but wanted to get matching white letter tires for it, which you all know isn't really possible sticking with the stock size. I know this has been visited before, but I created a petition I'd like to show bfg and see if maybe we can get them interested in producing the correct tire for us. If you can take the time to sign, it gives me that much more power to bring to bfg. I've already tried working with coker which didn't go very far, they dont have the rights to the t/a so they cant seem to help. Anyways here's the link, thanks and good luck to us all.

    Thanks! - Jeremiah

Signed. What may help this time is to find other cars that are in the same situation with this same tire size, and having the owner groups join us. I don't know if that's even the case, but maybe someone knows.

Unless you're willing to pay $5k+ per tire for 1000 or so tires, it just isn't going to happen.

Agreed. Similar situation with viper owners. Good luck, but probably a lost cause.

One of the companies would make the tires for you if you paid 1k per tire, it might have been goodyear. So it's not impossible to have matching tires, just expensive. If it's not on this site then it was on the old one.

It was Goodyear, they would make you a set of NCTs for 1k each. Maybe they'll give you the same deal for a set of eagle gt tires.

I'd rather have AVS Intermediates remade - that would cover the Esprit as well...

So we have two prices listed in this thread. $5K per tire from an unnamed mfgr and $1K per tire from Goodyear. Does anybody have actual quotes from any reputable mfgr that they can share?

Given the variation in (rumored) pricing suggests there is hope out there somewhere...

    (petition signed, too)
