    How to adjust headlights?

    Hey all,
My low beams are horribly aimed- pointing very low and almost centered. So basically they’re almost ineffective. How do I adjust them? I see that there’s a screw on the outer side of each one, and I’m guessing that affects the right/left aim (clockwise makes
It go out?). And if so, where would the screw be that affects up/down aim?

    Thanks, and happy thanksgiving everyone!

The up/down adjustment screw is on top. Tighten to raise, loosen to lower.

+1 Here is a picture of the headlight pots without the fascia if it helps. The top adjustment screw is the middle one.

Before attempting to adjust make sure the hardware is all there and properly positioned. A broken spring, an adjuster out of position, a rusted out bucket, and no amount of adjustment will work.

Also, depending on how everything fits together, you might have to gently pull up on the top part of the fascia to get a screwdriver in there.

+1 on this. It helps to put some painters tape on the fascia as well, just so gentle prying doesn't scratch the paint.

Top one of the two screws on the outside to adjust left/right, correct?
