I heard people started putting ls motors in those things cause the stock motor couldnt even get that 5000lb stainless car to 60mph.

Everyone knows the stock delorean is quite a bit of slug so the turbo is a super nice up grayed

Nahh, You're forgetting they will still have the thrill of wondering if leaving the doors open for an extended period combined with normal parasitic power loss has sufficiently drawn the battery down so that it won't crank over.

Even with LEDs? I've left my doors up for six hours straight without a problem. I did have the ignominy of being observed when my starter solenoid decided to take a lunch break and I had to crawl under in a nice shirt to jump it with pliers

As far as reliability is concerned, a well maintained K-Jet system can be as reliable as any conversion with two caveats, it needs to be used at least once in a while and you can't let any dirt or stale fuel into it. This applies to any fuel system.
