Suspension bushing measurements and steering rack parts?

Does anyone have measurement sizes of the lower control arm bushings? I need to replace the lower control arm bushings and would like to use polyurethane but I don't want to spend $100 on a $10 bushing.

Also, does anyone have a source for the steering rack replacement parts. Mine is developing some slop right at the steering shaft. The shaft itself is new with borgson universals, its the shaft coming out of the rack.

    Thanks Will

DMCH has reproduction rubber lower control arm bushings for 17.44 each and are exact fit:

If you want poly here I would also advise going with a LCA reinforcement kit that ads fore/aft stability to the LCA. The reinforcements have poly bushings as well.
I got the LCA poly bushings from DMC EU but DMCMW also stocks them (Or at least they did 5 years ago). They are custom machined to fit the LCA and are not an off the shelf part.

Most people doing suspension upgrades also upgrade the anti roll bar bushings to poly for improved handling/feel. The ones from DMCNW are the most popular:

These are a little more expensive, but they are a custom fit part as far as I remember. The ARB bushings with correct inner sleeve lengths are not available off the shelf. This kit also includes the upper ARB mounts on the frame extension crumple tube, but you can buy the two sets of bushings separately if you want.

I went with parts from PJ Grady for steering rack rebuild parts. Give them a call and talk to Rob. He has reproduction nylatron bushings and other misc components to fully rebuild your rack. Having reread your post though, if you've already swapped to an aftermarket rack I'm not sure if the internals will be the same.

If you're interested I have a few photos of my suspension/steering rack rebuild in these album here:

    steering rack bearing size

Does anyone know the OD of the pinion bearings on the Delorean steering rack? Looks like its a burman 67-00-01-33 s or 5. can anyone confirm this?

well I took my rack out. The pinion is in rough shape as expected. I called over to rob grady, he has bearings that he has machined for about $100.00 but has zero pinions. Luckly I have the ability to draw up a cad file and have one made. So we will see how that goes. Not the easiest, but fun non the less.

So the part is currently being 3D scanned. Hope to have a boat load of data points in a day or two so I can import it into CAD. Im hoping this will give me a more accurate part from the few good teeth since many of them are already pretty worn. Ill keep this updated as I go.
