The newer Deloreans actually do have a Toyota motor in them, same one out of the Lotus Evora if I recall correctly.
So you LS swap guys running Kjet/Lucas, you just been called out!!This car is very reliable with this motor, not overdone with an LS1 engine or some crazy HP that leads to engine issues or reliability problems with the OEM electronics and FI system.

eBay puffery aside, that's kind of an interesting swap. I think that's a 3S-GTE Gen 2? Would be from an 1989 - 1993 MR2.
Intake and air/water intercooler look unfinished, just kind of hanging out in the pontoon. Hope that's not indicative of the remainder of the swap.
Luke S :: 10270 :: 82 Grey 5-Speed :: Single Watercooled T3 .60/.48 :: Borla Exhaust :: MSD Ignition :: MS3X Fully SFI Odd-fire EFI :: DevilsOwn Methanol Injection
Seems a little sketchy to me, but who knows. I just find it odd that the seller couldn't even be bothered to properly inflate the rear tires. As a buyer I'm supposed to trust he knew what he was doing with an engine swap?
I also think it's kind of odd how butthurt he is about the LS swap cars having more power than his, so he has to trash them in his add.

Those pictures in both ads are dreadful. How is that possible in this day and age?
Reminds me of that classic line from an ebay ad a few years ago "I can tell you stock Delorians and quite a bit of slugs so the Turbo is a super nice up-grad"

I don't always drive cars, but when I do, I prefer DeLoreans
