The original door lock module looks like this:

Some sort of electronic module would be needed for your power door lock feature to work. I see Houston has an image of a new style one with improved logic and components. I don't know anything about those or how they work. If you don't have your original and want that power feature to work again, you'll need to seek out some sort of replacement, new or old.
