Congrats. What shape is it in?

I see the water pump isn't in the usual spot in the Valley, what can you tell us about that?

Only that this particular engine came from a Renault 25, was taken out and used in some sort of kitcar and ended up as an educational piece at an automotive high school.
That where i got it from and found pure by chance on a big national classifieds website.

The waterpump is something not original indeed.
Does not have drive pulley at all and seems flow was created externally.

Engine itself looks not too bad but i do need to do a complete stripdown do inspect the state it. But my plans are to use the turbo setup and the inlet manifold obviously

Waterpump was altered by PO to run an external pump.

Egine itself is in good shape. VOD seems solid.
Turbo is histoy and one bolt holding the inlet manifold snapped unfortunately.

    One tiny setback.
Engine block was repaired some time with epoxy to fix a crack of some sort. A crack that leaks coolant.
Hopefully some weld can be done here.

Looks like a great project. I really like the simplicity of carberated RPVs.

Much more scarce in the United States, where most DeLoreans are.
