Thread: Primary Fuel Pressure Regulator Shims - Source?

    My VIN:    1890

    I just spoke with Steve at DMCH. He assures me that 69psi is just fine for primary fuel pressure. He's given me some other suggestions of things to look at for my rough idle problems.

    ive had to shim mine up, quite alot, to get my pressures over 70 psi from 61.

    makes me think that the spring in there is getting tired from being compressed for 40 years.

    anyone have a source for the springs- without buying the whole PPR from Bosch for over $110 ?

    Could also be that the gauge that you used is not accurate. Not uncommon for them to be off a few lbs at least. Especially if they got dropped.

    I thought of that too.
    i have another delorean here, and it gives me good values on that car.
    i think i have another gauge I can try, it just doesnt have the valve.
