Thread: Injectors - running different Bosch injectors - thoughts?

    I think the rest pressure (PSI) is set by the injectors so I would not think they will leak any more than the 022 units. It's just that the rest pressure would start a little lower.

    Always best to try to stay with the proper parts but these could be a useful substitute. Because the rest pressure drops (and the higher the pressure the faster it drops) even if they leak a bit it might not be all that important. Especially if you are using the smaller accumulator.

    The push-up valve in the PPR bleeds the accumulator to ~8psi (or ~5psi, depending on page;-) below the injector's opening pressure.
