    SP10691 - rocker pin retainers

    Hello guys,

I've bought a bag of these pin retainers https://store.delorean.com/p-9369-pin-retainer.aspx but I found out they don't stay in the rocker panel holes at all; it looks like the space between the retainers flat part and the "side wings" is too short and so the wings can't stick under the rocker panel surface (I can make a quick drawing if this is unclear).
I found this matter briefly discussed on another forum: http://www.deloreans.co.uk/forum/sho...d.php?tid=5137 and it seems that the only solution is to shave every wings until they get the right clearance.
what is your experience with these retainers?

    Thanks

My experience is the same, I had to file down each of them. For me it was during the install of the side skirts, but I think it would be required no matter what. I just used a small needle file like so:

It says it's a reproduction part so the tolerances must be off.
