Thread: Steering column bracket squeaking

    I'm having the same squeak on my car. On my car its definitely the plastic canopy rubbing the steering wheel. You can feel the noise when you place your hand on the plastic and move the steering wheel. Very annoying.

    I'm going to try adjusting it forward and some lithium grease as well.

    Thanks Mark. It’s not the canopy it’s up right under the windscreen. If I push the peddles sideways I get the same noise so def pedal box. Just need to figure out how to get up there!

    Very unusual for the whole peddle box to be loose. Somebody must have removed it in the past for some reason.
