    License Plate is Installed

The plate has finally arrived making this the last item required to deem the car road legal. The install was not simple as one would expect, as the two bottom screws were seized and had to be drilled out.

Seized screws: 37 year old car problem. I assume you installed stainless hardware?

For now I just cleaned the threads and reinstalled the top two because the bottom two now have no fastener to thread into on the inside of the bumper cover. I do plan to address that at some point before attempting to hit the streets.

That is one thing that looks so terrible in the engine compartment and always been a complaint from me.

I agree the bottle looks pretty bad. I have no idea if it was ever driven in winter but it spent all of its winters in the outdoors. All I can really say for certain is that sometime between 1985 and 1998 it logged 7,877 miles.

No I didn't mean to imply that, just that the car is road legal and could now be driven if running. I'm taking it slowly with several other project cars also under way.
