Let's only count cars that have turned over, started and run in the last 12 months on an actual road trip shall we! Then, it's probably down to about 2,800 "working" cars still left....a classic indeed! That's why people go crazy IF they ever catch up to me at a stoplight or gas station....It's like they saw the "magic bunny" Michael mentioned, or a UNICORN they have only heard about or seen in that Michael J Fox classic film. Cars rotting and not registered safe to drive anymore shouldn't be counted....so now we are down to 2,500 perhaps???

The rough categories could be runners vs non-runners. My guess (not based on scientific results) 2000-3000 runners and 4-5000 non-runners.
