    Fuel distributor

Question about the fuel distributor. Most places list the fuel distributor as Bosch 0-438-100-109. Mine is Bosch 0-438-100-105. Are these 2 interchangeable? Or did a previous owner change the 109 for the 105? Another question about the FD. The frequency value large connection is connected to the FD at the fuel input hose (from fuel filter). The diagrams I've seen show it connecting to the fuel return hose. Is this wrong and I should move it from input to return connector? Thanks

    Original FD is a -109

I don't know whether it interchanges with any other Bosch FD.

Mine is the 076 which is an adjustable FD and it runs my engine fine.

There are a lot of minor differences with the -XXX numbers. Somewhere there is an application chart that shows what -XXX is for what model, make and year car. Some differences are very minor, some not so minor. The shape of the venturi, the shape of the fuel plunger, the pressures, etc. Each is tailored to fit exactly that specific application. Because it is getting harder and harder to find parts people try to make do with what fits. Ideally you should try to find the correct parts so you know the motor is running as it was intended. Same goes for the injectors.

That distributor is for an 83-86 Volvo 760. It should work, although it is not optimized for the DeLorean's intake or cam profile.

Yes, put the large banjo on the fuel return. The frequency valve won't work as intended if it's plumbed to the fuel supply.
