Got my car back in July of 2008. It's come a long way (and just drew blood again...cut myself a few minutes ago while reattaching the vacuum plug on the back of the vent controls...guess the car was in need of a renewed blessing)

    10 years today!

Unfortunate timing though; it’s on jacks waiting for a new brake master to arrive in the mail.

I did the math which says 38 years and some change.
It seems not that long ago. This toy does indeed distort time.
Between many broken speedo cables and a 160 MPH replacement original miles unknown. Guess is about 30-40,000.
Last 20+ years parked indoors and covered except for short take outs to keep it functional.
Once a daily driver and my only car even in winters here.

    Bob,

I'm always interested to hear from original owners. I hope to see more posts about your time with the car, especially the beginning.

13 years and I still don’t know shit about it. Just trying to keep mine running. I wanted to get one before DCS 2006 since the show was right down the street from my house. Picked it up Day before Super Bowl in Saginaw Michigan and drove it 5 hours back home. Got hit with lake effect snow coming through Indiana
