Plastic bushing at end of steering column cage...
I have narrowed it down to this plastic bushing being worn to the point where it is allowing my steering shaft to move up and down like a quarter inch.. anyone have a junk column that they would part with this plastic part?? or know where to get one without buying a whole new steering column????

Try Rob Grady. He seems to have some odds and ends when you least expect it.

We offer a premium solution for this. High tolerance to take out the unwanted deflection present in the plastic bushing. Fully serviceable with the ability to remove and install as many times as you would like. Two versions available. One requires a secondary hole to be added into the cage itself (1/4) to allow for greasing the unit with optional fitting. Again this is completely optional as the bushing is made from an oil impregnated bronze.
