    How to open the trunk, when the cable is torn?

    I think the thread name says everything. On a Delorean (VIN5390) the inner hood cable is torn and we cannot open the trunk, which means fueling is impossible. How can we open it?

    If it is broke at the handle under the dash you may be able to get a vice grips on the inner cable. All depends on where the cable is broke.

    coat hanger works too, though I have a gas flap hood, and that helped greatly...
