    Binnacle People?

In Michigan? I've never heard of these guys. But the binnacle looks nice.

In one of the pics it seems like you can see the underlying cracks distorting the vinyl cover. My binnacle is cracked but the PO had it covered in vinyl so you can't see it. You can feel the crack if you touch the vinyl, however. It's decent but I'd rather have a really nice one that's a little more clean of a restoration or reproduction. I'll wait to see what DMCH comes up with.

Yeah the underlying crack is seen and this is just a recoverd binnacle. I personally don't think its a great recover. Im still hopeing DMCH will come up with new "quality" binnacle soon. I am not sure why its taking so long. Another thing that worries me is that they will make it cheap. Im hopeing people that go to the open house next month will look at it, hold it and see what kind of quality it is. Hope they take lots of close up pics as well.

If you are interested in NOS, give Rob Grady a call. I was at his shop the other day. He has a few beautiful looking binnacles in Black (only) available.
