I respect this build and Nick ALOT. he is a true trailblazer.

What does not sit well with me is estimating flywheel power numbers from chassis dyno results. It is a very abstract number, and you cannot confirm it short of pulling the engine and putting it on an engine dyno.
But everyone likes these numbers as they are much bigger than at the tire.

I find someone claiming a 630hp delorean a bit of a misnomer. Most people dont care to learn the difference between tire and flywheel power numbers, so they merge them together.

I don't like some estimating engine from wheel power based on some "average" loss due to tranny/diff, but if they have a known loss from a Porsche 6speed on a Porsche, I think wouldn't be too far off with some other engine.

In this case, you have a writer probably demanding a number and Nick did the best he could.

All that being said, we all want a video of you side by side with Nick giving it all you got.

I would love that too, and it will happen one day, but we live 2900kms apart and the border is closed right now.

I got to look at the car up close and personal at a recent Tech Event, and Nick took me out for a spin in it (thanks again for that). Very fun car to say the least. I was pretty surprised at how it pulls.

Did a walkthrough and test drive (more of a joyride) of it at the event:

Im courious about your suspension. I got some front coilovers and lowered the car about 1 1/2" to get rid of the "off road" look. I noticed that the car bottoms out fairly often. So I adjusted the damping fairly stiff and it has helped. With yours being 4" lower, I have to believe it bottoms out all the time. Do you only take it on good roads? I know you did quite extensive work to make the tires fit. Did this allow you to lower it some without losing as much suspension travel?
