    Thanks for the info!

Any info on Nick Speakman's BTTF conversion? I saw it in a documentary a couple of years ago ('Car Nation', I think ...), and - according to his daughter - it was 'the actual car used in the movies'. Apparantley, it wasn't, but that's another story ...

About the Polish DeLorean: it's not on Mobile.de at the moment, but now and then it turns up for sale ...

A few pictures of the Polish 'replica' (I looked it up, but I didn't remember it to be this bad ...) :

Doesn't anybody have any information about the rest? Surely, somebody must know somebody who knows these owners ...

Cool. The obvious linguistic joke is to note that the Polish car is polished

It seems to be a business that rents these cars our, rather than sells them.
    Dermot
    VIN 2743, B/A, Frame 2227, engine 2320

I don't always drive cars, but when I do, I prefer DeLoreans

No-one is to stone anyone, even, and I want to make this absolutely clear, even if they do say "carburetor"

    I haven't thought that far ...

Anyway, you're right about that he's rents the DeLoreans out, he even has a few other 'moviecar replicas' ( one worse than the other ).

Is it my guess, or is that Welmoed Jonckers (president from the Dutch DeLorean Club) in that second picture?

    - VIN#02831 ( California )
    - VIN#02930 ( Atlanta Georgia ), still owned by Buddy Smith?
    - VIN#03161 ( New York ) --> this car was for sale on Ebay in march 2013. Not anymore, so apparantly sold?
    - VIN#04090 ( Tunica )
    - VIN#04675 ( Hinsdale Illinois ) --> is indeed Bob Brandys car, one of the first replica ever build I think?
    - VIN#05556 ( ? ), still owned by Bill Shea?
    - VIN#05573 ( California )
    - VIN#05740 ( Yorkshire UK ), owned by Mike Bosworth, but apparantly for sale?
    - VIN#06128 ( Taylor Michigan ), still owned by Monte Chomos?
    - VIN#06425 ( Limevady Northern Ireland ), still owned by Nick Speakman? Saw this car in a documentary once, but never heard or seen of it again ...
    - VIN#07157 ( ? )

I also have a few names of guys who converted their cars into a BTTF replica, but I can't find any info on these anymore:

    - Paul 'Doc' Nigh, participated in the Fireball Run a few times, but nobody seems to have a VIN on his DeLorean ...
    - Dave Jason
    - Ryder Davis
    - Mark Shields ( http://timemachinerental.com/ )
    - Rafat Karwowski ( Poland ), still for sale on Mobile.de

Can anybody help me with the VIN's of their cars? And where they are now?

    Thanks

Hey Andy! I haven't been on here in a while and just noticed this thread. My VIN is actually 6329. Someone gave out a different number but that's not for my car. My time machine conversion began in 1998 with Bruce and Doug Vaters, but it has since had its replica parts swapped out with new/improved parts from multiple sources and is continually evolving.

Wow. I hope this was a quick job and they didn't pay someone to do this...
