Unfortunately for the purchaser (assuming it went through), that car is going to require a lot of work above the 34k price paid.
It's encouraging to see sales prices continue to rise. I check Hagerty every once in a while to see what the "official" valuations are, if you can call them that. Here's the latest for Jan 2020:

That car could have been so much more with a little more effort. The frame was nice but for the price of a few cans of brake cleaner and degreaser, a bag of rags and an afternoon it could have looked so much better and worthy of top tier asking price. I'm guessing just north of 30k but with a little more elbow grease along with it's history, it could have been a 45k+ machine.

That thing started at 44K and dropped to under 38K. I'd guess a deal was struck in the 36K range, which was really good IMO.
