That car could have been so much more with a little more effort. The frame was nice but for the price of a few cans of brake cleaner and degreaser, a bag of rags and an afternoon it could have looked so much better and worthy of top tier asking price. I'm guessing just north of 30k but with a little more elbow grease along with its history, it could have been a 45k+ machine.

Have you ever done a detailing FAQ? I don't see too much with a search.

It looks to me to be a really nice example with a perfect frame.

The condition, mileage, and specs of the car are nearly identical to the one I just bought, but with a nicer frame.

That sounds like a lot of work. I prefer our approach. Drop the mild steel chassis and scrap it. Install a stainless chassis and then take pictures.

I had a buyer (prior owner of the car) pay a $15k premium for a car with a SS frame over repurchasing the car from me. So it has other benefits as well.

He bought in September for a flip, although looks like he's done a huge amount of genuine work on it. It's not the shiniest car out there, but seems like he's
addressed the critical issues and more. Perhaps he got a bad run of tire kickers.

I see it's listed on Craigslist, some saying it's overpriced but I continue to see it as a very nice example. I think he's right when he said it looks like the car was never driven in the rain.

Sometimes the market is weird; a few weeks ago someone paid over 30K for a car half as nice as this one.
