    Piece found under my Delorean

Hi everybody! The other day I found this rubber piece on the floor after I moved my Delorean. What could it be? I don't think it could have fallen from another car, but I can't be 100% sure.

    Thank you!
    (Sorry for my english)

Looks like a rubber exhaust hanger from some other vehicle. It’s not a factory Delorean part. It’s also too clean and New looking. Where ( location ) did you discover it?

No, it's not so new and clean..
It was in the back section, under the gearbox (more or less), a bit on the left.

I was working at the back (mounting the mixture unit and all fuel lines) and I didn't notice a thing even when the screws and the tools felt on the floor. But when I started the car and moved it, I found this piece.

    Maybe I'm only getting old...

I’m stumped . It’s just not something I recall seeing on the Delorean before.

    Sorry

    Sorry
Thank you for your help. I talked to some members of the Delorean Italian Club, and they told me the same. So I assume it's NOT a Delorean piece.
    Thank you again

Yes looks like an exhaust hanger from another car. Maybe you kicked it up on the highway and it got stuck under your car.
