    what glue for weatherstripping?

The weatherstripping on my hood is in great shape but it is now falling off. What glue do you recommend to re-attach it?

    thanks

3M Super Weatherstrip Adhesive. Black hides better, yellow seems to stick slightly better.

    What Dave said.

I just had some decent success reattaching my hood seal with painter's tape to mask off where I didn't want glue. A little gentle prying under the tape with a putty knife after the glue set and it's all nice and clean.

Can the 3M adhesive be used to reattach the carpet on the bottom side of the hood? If not, is there a better alternative?

Use a spray adheasive for that. 3M 90. Put a light coat on both the hood and the carpet, then stick. Mask the hood for overspray.

Should this stuff be used to seal the electrical box under the T-panel as well?
