That first photo with Gene is reportedly a dealer and his wife who were visiting on Holiday in NI. See this:

Also notice the preproduction gas tank with the "bubble" towards the front to increase fuel capacity. This was eliminated on production cars.

Is that an Alpine A310 with the boot/engine cover open in the background of that pic? One of the PRV test mules perhaps...

I stumbled upon this photo taken by a member of a Lotus forum. According to the source this was taken at Hethel in 1980.

I don't always drive cars, but when I do, I prefer DeLoreans

No-one is to stone anyone, even, and I want to make this absolutely clear, even if they do say "carburetor"
Amazing find! What was the forum?
I love the SD1/Esprit lights in the rear fascia. Now I wonder what car the green one is? The plate on the back of it says "02" but it can't be D2 because that was a yellow car, and besides that the green one is the Giugiaro restyle, and D2 was the original Collins shape.

I found it on this forum: http://www.thelotusforums.com/forums...e-yours/page-2. Hopefully someone can spot this photo on here and maybe identify it. Who knows, maybe the folks over at that Lotus forum might have some more hidden treasures.
