I touched on this earlier but wanted to clarify as I finished the wiring. Some people who went to EFI with a manual trans were able to simply eliminate the red plug. There seems to be some discrepancy in which harness your car came with. I converted to a later style engine harness when I first built the car because of its better routing on the engine i.e. cleaner and more compact. My car is a 5 speed . I had to retain 4 pins on the red plug.

Pin 14/18 starter switch ground circuit.
Pin 12 green/brown reverse light switch
Pin 15 light green/white power to reverse lights

I figured this out the hard way when my car wouldn't start and I had no reverse lights. Mark H. was a life saver in this and helped me isolate the problems.

Ha! It seems like anyone doing harness work has found this out the hard way. You think you are all done, but the car wont turn over.

Fuel side conversion is complete. Car is tuned. Had some issues at the tuner shop . The DMC Houston pump failed and the accumulator. Car wasn't making consistent pressure to the aeromotive regulator. Pulled pump it was intermittent and making noise. Replaced pump. Accumulator had failed so bad it was sending most of the pressure back to the tank via the return. Both where bought new in 2017. Replaced with a Delphi fuel pump. (The Tahoe pump ) . Thanks to Rafael and Josh on this pro tip. DPI sells a qaulity kit with nice lines and fittings that includes this pump.

    Or aftermarket
The part number for the pump is
    Part #
    FG0089-11B1

Bypassed the accumulator as it's no longer needed.

Now moving on to ignition control .

    Fiber-optic distributor - thanks Mark

The DPI fuel pump setup is awesome. I went with it after my year-old fuel pump boot turned into goo and started leaking gas everywhere after a fill-up. I didn't realize how loud the OE-style pumps were! Your new dizzy/cam sensor setup looks great - please keep the updates coming (I'm taking notes from afar). How are you planning on mounting the LS coils?
Yeah, it's dirty. I drive it.

Thanks ! I am going to mount some coil packs in place of where the ignition resistor use to be. I Tore the top end off today. Cleaned the vod. Installed the distributor. Removed all stock kjet and if ignition wiring. Waiting on some coil pack mounts and spark plugs to finish the hard side. Then I started making a GM hei conversion Kit for a fellow owner and buddy of mine in the TNDMC club.

Engines back together. Fiber optic distributor installed. XP103 iridium plugs. 8.5mm MSD spark plugs wires. LS Coil pack harnesses built. Waiting on my coil mounts to come in (hopefully today). Then it's just mount the coils and wire up the ignition side of MS3x megasquirt.
