I don't get the allure of a heavy iron block V8 in a DMC, would be terrible to drive and they don't make that much power unless you dump a ton of money into them. An LSx is much lighter, cheap and can handle a decent amount of boost with a massive amount of tech support for tuning and parts.
I'm currently building a modern V6TT aiming at 400+whp in a small and lightweight package, but it's not cheap.
If i want to drive fast, ill drive my miata, if I want to cruise in style and have a enjoyable evening drive, ill drive the DeLorean. Not every car has to be a race car
