    Tech Day Details

    Good evening DCF members,

Just a reminder that our Tech Day at DMC Florida is next Saturday, February 1st. Here are a few details:

    Start time: 9:30 am
    End time: 3:00 pm

This will be a different tech day in that we won't be wrenching on each other's cars, rather we will treated to the opportunity to:

    1. Learn more about our favorite car in 6 technical seminar topics facilitated by:
    - Stephen Wynne, CEO, DeLorean Motor Company
    - Tony Ierardi, Owner, DeLorean Motor Company Florida
    - Robert Gadocha, Manager, DeLorean Motor Company Florida

There will be 3 seminars on the morning, and 3 after lunch.

    2. Time for Q&A and to chat with these experts
    3. Tour the DMC Florida dealership
    4. Meet and hang out with your fellow DeLorean Club of Florida members in a casual atmosphere

Please, feel free to bring your DeLorean. We hope to see you there!

    Regards,

    Thanks!

    Greetings DCF members and enthusiasts,

Thanks to all who were able to attend our first event of the year, and what an event it was! We were treated to a day filled with technical discussion & demonstrations and camaraderie at DeLorean Motor Company of Florida.
Members caught up with each other and chatted with other enthusiasts between tech discussions and during breaks/lunch. DeLorean Motor Company CEO, Stephen Wynne and DMCFL Manager Robert Gadocha led the informative tech seminars.

    Topics discussed included:
    • Cooling System pressure test, bleeding and general maintenance and restoration
    • Trailing Arm Bolt (TABs) inspection and replacement
    • Trailing Arm Shield removal and maintenance
    • Stainless dent repair and blending demo
    • Fuel pump original versus new all-in-one module
    • New fuel lines and installation demo
    • LED taillights and improved boards
    • Power Steering system

I wanted to give special thanks to:
    • Stephen Wynne for coming over from DMC Texas to share his expertise
    • Tony Ierardi for opening up his pristine DMCFL business to host the event and provide breakfast/ lunch.
    • DMCFL Manager Robert Gadocha and staff member Grant who provided their usual helpful advice and hospitality
    • DCF Member Elliot Hansen who provided DJ/audio service and his time machine replica
    • DCF Member Austin Roghelia (aka Parzival) who provided decorating and videographer service.
    • Friends and families of the above who helped and/or endured the obsession

All in all, it was an awesome stainless steel filled day made possible by these people!

In case you missed it, here is Austin’s video summary:

You can check out more of his filming work at his production company Spark 11 Productions : http://www.spark11productions.com/

We hope to see you at our next event!

Thanks for organizing such a great event; it was nice to get together without it being the celebration car show, haha!

Do you know how many owners cars were in attendance? With all the service cars outside I had a hard time telling. I know there was me, Dana, Dan, and Oliver; wasn't sure if there were any others. (I suppose Robert's could count). Even without the seminars applying directly to my car's needs, I enjoyed listening to them. Admittedly that was the first time I had tried a car with the power steering. Very coo; still not convinced it's something I need, but still cool nonetheless.

Here's hoping we have more events throughout the year!
