Sounded like a D right down to the Idle surge! Exhaust only is my guess!

I always find it amusing that someone goes to this much trouble, and doesn't straighten out the front fascia above the headlights (eyebrows).

In that case, the Eaglemoss model should make you hysterical.

    My VIN:    1983 canadian model

One (and perhaps only) thing positive about it it’s the interior colour which I find really appealing. That cinnamon colour remind me of the prototype colour (which was more akin to orange however)

I think Michael is spot-on as it's a Japanese owner and car.

I don't think there are any mechanical modifications beyond enormous wheel spacers which conveniently change from 4 lug to 5 lug.

Ah Ok, I probably look like a jackass to the community now. Apparently this is a different car than one that I had in mind. Here is the link to another project doing a Front Engine, RWD conversion with a tubular roll cage throughout the car.

    My apologies folks

that was the one i was referring to.
I wouldn't say you look like a jackass though.
Im interested to see how that car turns out. Seems to have some serious skill and motivation behind it.
