Good find.
It was made by an outfit JZD created or spun off when he bought out Thiokol's snowcat division, Logan Machine Co., in 1978.
Here's a 1984 story written about LMC - it was one target in bankruptcy proceedings when creditors went after DMC:

DeLorean sold his interest in LMC in 1993.
Bonus material shows when their snowcats were branded as LMC or DMC: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Logan_Machine_Company

I saw this one while in BC for some vacation last week. It was up at the top of what is called Grouse Mountain. A ski hill in the winter and beautiful gondola ride up with view of Vancouver in the summer. Oh, and there's a couple of grizzly bears up there too. No joke. You can get crazy close to them. Thank goodness for electrified fences!
