    mystery springs

I replaced the steering column bushing in my car this past weekend and these two springs must have popped out of somewhere. Any ideas where exactly they came from? All the controls and switches seemed to be working fine without them from what I noticed.

I have never came across those but if I were guessing, I would say they came from one of the combination switches. Tried your high beam flashers or windshield washer function yet? Maybe turn signals?

Did you have the lambda counter box out?

I'm not 100% sure but it looks like a part of a turn signal self-cancelling mechanism. Just check if they switch off when the wheel returns to center.

No dissertation on the production and care of springs or alike?

I had a feeling that's where they fell out of from pulling the steering column out. Thanks for your help
