As long as everything else in the system is operating normally, it would work! I can't tell too much from the pictures though. Best to consult some diagrams and manuals!

Any ideas, or one of those unused, future idea harnesses?

I'm about 45 mins away from you. My cars wiring is fairly stock and clean. The best I can offer you is if you want to use my car for a comparison your welcome to it. My car never had an alarm in it and I have found several disconnected connectors, but I was told to leave it alone if everything is working which seems to be the case.

On a manual trans car, I can only think of three things that appear to be unplugged - the diagnostics plug and the connector on top of the W-pipe (the white/black connector that seems to missing a piece). Also the hot-start relay plug.

There shouldn't be 'several' disconnected connectors.

I know about the wire ontop the W-pipe, a couple people had mentioned it to me. Diagnostics plug, and hot start relay, where would I find those?? I havent seen and relays misisng in my fuse/relay section, except the tach/fuel relay.

Ive done this myself with a friend here locally MANY times. It really does help..except if the types of transmissions are different.

I should've said things like the switch for the engine bay light and maybe one or two other connectors that I can think of.
