Ok, I got my new indicator switch from DMC and now I have turn signals...yaay....
But wait a minute.....
All four side markers are flashing too..
Anyone have an idea what could cause that, where to look?
Thanks

Did your car get this mod that allows the side marker lights to flash with the turn signals? Normally they don't flash and only come on with the headlights. Maybe something screwy is going on with either the hazards switch, the headlight switch, your turn signal stalk, or some combination of those?

Hehe...
Hazard switch is new, just got turn signal switch today, so its new...headlight switch works fine (mostly)...hehe.
As for a mod..i have no idea, anything is possible, given some of the things I seen that convinced me PO was on some rally good drugs..hehe.
Talked to Toby and he said it could be I put the wrong lights into the sockets..I guess the front and rear ambers are different in the LED's..so I'll prolly check that tomorrow..or a bit later if I get a moment.

Remove the front marker bulbs only to see if the mod mentioned might be involved.
...wondering if the tail lights are acting like the marker lights, as they should be??

Have you upgraded to LEDs?
I once used LEDs from Autozone with the DeLorean and my pickup truck. Eventually, I noticed the LEDs caused both vehicles to flash all running lights when I hit the brakes or when the turn signals were activated.
I never figured out why it happened...

Not sure what the mod is you talk about it...
In any case, all the indicator and marker lights are LED's..got them from DMC, so they're the right ones. Yeah, the tail lights are working as they should be too..hehe.
Im perplexed...

Im at a complete loss...checked bulbs, etc. I have the battery disconnected for the moment, until I make sure I plugged the new actuators in the right spot...but Im thinking of removing the flasher swtich to see if that makes a difference...thought its a new swtich, so I kinda doubt it.

There was a wiring modification some people do to get the side markers to flash with the turn signal. But that only worked with incandescent bulbs.
You would need to see if you can restore the original wiring if that modification was done.

I have no way of knowing if the modification was done.
