    You really don't need a connector shell for that circuit since you rarely if ever need to remove the connections. Just find the new pins and stick them in and or glue the wires from pulling out. Or carefully solder the wires to the pins. On my window switches I soldered wires to pins and ran short wires to another type of connector since I do have to remove those wires if I pull the center console. I did that so the switches could seat all the way down.

    Hi and thank you for your help.

    Ed Uding was the key to success. I don´t know, why I didn´t think earlier of his workshop. It is the DMC workshop which is nearest to where I live (although it is in the Netherlands).

    Incidentally I did not have success finding the connector as a spare part in a Jaguar workshop...
