    DMC Houston Fuel pump failure.

    Add me to the list of people who's dmc 400 dollar fuel pump failed. Lasted me 3 years and probably less then 5k. I won't be buying another. crap.

    What I meant was did it outright fail or did a component on it fail, like the check valve.

    I posted this discussion on restoration projects. As soon as Stephen came on the thread got locked. Guess your not aloud to give products negative reviews if it hurts a vendors feelings.
    List of DMC products that has failed very early on my car....
    Steering rack
    Brake master
    Accumulator
    Fuel pump
    Brakes
    Angle drive

    The list goes on.

    I am done as a customer.

    Wow. Hopefully mine still works when I finish my project. It has a 2013 pump, and it was working fine when parked in 2018.

    Did they switch to a lower quality setup sometime after 2013?

    Not really sure. But I would say most of the Delorean guys I know personally that have run them have had problems with them . Most guys have switched to a 2000 Chevy Tahoe Bosch unit .
