    I understand you did a lot of tests and they all came back negative. If "foaming" is what has you concerned, maybe the coolant is contaminated in some manner. Maybe flush the system out and refill with fresh anti-freeze and soft water.

    What was the defect in the original pump? Could it have contaminated or spewed something into the coolant passages?

    One of the coolant passages was never machined out. The coolant had nowhere to go. Do a search, there’s several pics on this forum.
