Did you cycle it through the gears while running to make sure the torque converter etc... was filled?
Also at the risk of sounding stupid, you did wipe the dipstick clean and then take the reading (sorry had to ask).
Yeah, I did. At least this time I did and now it reads in the middle of the "WARM" area after the engine is done heating up.
Thanks for all the help, to everyone who reminded me how to read the transmission oil.
