Another option is to just detach a wire from the front side marker and run that to the front blinkers. The side marker will blink opposite of the front blinker. No need to buy anything (unless you don't have extra wire laying around). Done that years ago to be more visible as people tend to sit beside me and cannot see my rear blinker when I want to get over.

Sitting here at my computer I forget which color wire you attached to in the front but I can check and report back later this weekend if anyone is interested.

You know you can run wire from the front side marker to the back side marker and have it work both. I had one customer do that but most people don't want to run those wires and buy two units.

Quite right. Here's the modification. No diodes or relays required. This is the right front but the sidemarker mod is similar for all. Essentially, take the sidemarker ground and connect to the blinker signal. This mod requires the sidemarker bulb be incandescent or non-polarity LED.

However, Dave's sidemarker modules are designed properly and work without reversing voltage thru the side bulb. I'm with Josh, Dave's units are the way to go.
